Battery measurement technology for lithium iron phosphate battery chemistries

Lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery chemistries are becoming increasingly popular in automotive and industrial applications due to their low material cost, long life and excellent temperature stability. However, these advantages are offset by characteristics that make it difficult to determine the exact state of charge, such as very small variations in open circuit voltages.
