Darmstadtium

The future meets at the Darmstadtium

State-of-the-art architecture in unusual shapes creates a wow effect both inside and out with the latest conference technology. Here, the conference program and trade fair merge seamlessly under one roof. Short distances and connecting elements are characteristic of the Darmstadtium. They guarantee a lively, nuanced and bustling flair for the networking platform of the BATTERY EXPERTS FORUM.
The architectural masterpiece also finds perfection in the form of sustainability: a huge funnel-shaped flower made of glass and steel in the foyer of the congress center is used in two ways to conserve resources - to collect rainwater and to draw in fresh air. This is followed by heat recovery from the exhaust air and cooling of the supply air. The collected rainwater is used for sanitary facilities in the building and for watering green areas. In addition, over 400 solar modules on the roof generate around 70,000 kilowatt hours of electricity per year, a Citytree filters air for 430,000 lungs and three bee colonies live on the roof terrace.

Battery Expetrs Forum Exhibitors

Meet an energy-driven knowledge community

The booming future market of battery technology is at the heart of the energy and transportation transition. It reveals potentials that will put a stop to climate change. This is where the future is secured. The BATTERY EXPERTS FORUM 2024 will bring together the who's who of the international battery industry for the 19th time. Driven by innovation, the forum fits perfectly into the inspiring environment of the City of Science Darmstadt. The Technical University of Darmstadt offers a wide range of new and innovative courses of study, from aerospace to visual data processing. Among other things, the university is widely known for its sophisticated training of engineers, natural scientists and computer scientists. Darmstadt is also home to many research and testing institutes, from Fraunhofer and Max Planck to the Helmholtz Association.

In the middle of Germany and in the heart of Europe, it is only a stone's throw from Darmstadt to Frankfurt Airport, the gateway to the world, both by car (approx. 30 minutes' drive) and by public transport.
