In the renewable energy sector, protective covers for domestic power systems must meet strict legal, aesthetic and practical standards for components and materials, as well as requirements for aesthetics, ease of installation, cost and scalability.

This presentation will look at safety requirements, European and international standards for energy storage and the importance of safety. It will show how plastic can add value in terms of thermal management and contribute to sustainability goals.

Kevin Rovere is an aspiring renewable energy professional with a solid academic background in Corporate Communications and Information Management from Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences. Having only entered the renewable energy sector last year, Kevin has quickly developed a keen interest in improving the safety of renewable energy products. His work is guided by the belief that effective communication and rigorous safety standards are critical to the advancement of renewable technologies.
